Act wise Inspection Record List

1. Inspection under Contract Labour ( R & A) Act,1970.
For Principal employer:
1.Registration Certificate.
2.Register of Contractor in Form “VIII”.
3.Employers authorize representatives has to verify each entry of the payment made by Contractor.
4.Displayed notice showing the wages, hours of work, wage period, date of payment, name and address of inspector at conspicuous place.
5.Employer should submit copies of above notice to the inspector.
6.Certain changes in registration certificate to be communicated to the Registering Officer.
7.Registration certificate, agreement copy / relevant record should be maintained & produce.
8.Annual return in Form “XXI”
For Contractor :
1.Copy of Contractor Licence/ renewed licence.
2.The identity cards to the contract worker in “Form X”
3.Muster Roll cum Wage Register of workers engaged by contractor in Form II as per Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
4.Notices showing the wages, hours of work, wage period, date of payment of wages, name and address of the inspector having jurisdiction and the date of payment of unpaid wages in English, Hindi or Marathi.
5.Copies of above notice sent to inspector.
6.Attendance card-cum-wage slip of contract workers.
7.The payment of Contract workers should be as per prescribed Minimum wages
2. Inspection under Minimum Wages Act, 1948

1. Muster roll cum wage registers in “Form II”.
2. Whether the employer is paying wages to the worker as per the prescribed Minimum wages.
3. Attendance card cum wage slips.
4. Inspection book (In triplicate).
5. If Workers are doing overtime work then should paid at the double of ordinary rate of wages.
6. The workers are being paid wages after the seventh day / Tenth day of every month.
7. The record for last three year.
8. Checking false entries in the records/registers.
9. Wages / payments by an account payee cheque drawn in favour of the employees or by crediting the same in the bank account of employee.

3. Inspection under The Equal Remuneration Act, 1976.
  • 1.Muster roll cum wage register.
  • 2.Any discrimination done on the ground of gender while paying wages for the equal work.
  • 3.Register in “Form D”.
  • 4.No discrimination while recruiting on the ground of gender
4. Inspection under The Maharashtra Shop & Establishment Act, 1948
  • 1. Registration Certificate of establishment / renewed certificate
  • 2. Visit book.
  • 3. Muster-roll cum wage register.
  • 4. Identity-card in a prescribed form to every employee of Hotel establishment.
  • 5. Name board of establishment in Marathi “Devnagri Script”.
  • 6. Exhibit a Notice of Holiday in “Form L” ( In case of hotel, hospital & Theater establishment)
  • 7. Exhibit a notice containing extracts of the Act and the Rules in the language of the majority of its employees.
  • 8. The Employer shall notify any changes as respects the total number of employees within 15 days after the expiry of the quarter to which the change relates, to the Inspector in form “E”.
  • 9. If Workers are doing overtime work then should paid at the double of ordinary rate of wages.
  • 10. No such woman shall be required or allowed to work in any establishment after 9.30 p.m.
  • 11. No employee shall be required or allowed to work in any shop or commercial establishment more than 9 hours in a day and 48 hours in a week.
  • 12. Every employee shall be entitled to additional paid holidays on the 26th January, 1st May, 15th August, and 2nd October every year.
  • 13. Child Labour is prohibited
5. Inspection under The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.
  • 1. Bonus for the accounting year paid by the employer.
  • 2. Register of computation of allocable surplus in “Form A”.
  • 3. Register of set on and set off of the allocable surplus in “Form B”.
  • 4. Register of the details of the amount of bonus due to each of the employees, the deduction under section 17 & 18 and the amount actually disbursed in “Form C”.
  • 5. Account books, balance sheet for the accounting year.
  • 6. The annual return in “Form D”.
  • 7. The percentage of bonus paid by the employer.
  • 8. The Bonus of the accounting year should pay within a period of 8 months from the closure of the accounting year
6. Inspection under The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972
  • 1. Notice of opening of establishment in “Form A”.
  • 2. The notice of specifying the name and designation of the officer authorized by the employer to receive on his behalf notices should displayed.
  • 3. Nomination form in “Form F”.
  • 4. Abstract of the Act should be displayed at auspicious place.
  • 5. Employer should submit notice of change in “Form B” if address of establishment has been changed
7. Inspection under The Payment of Wages Act, 1936
  • 1. The employer should made payment of wages on or before 7th day of every month (for establishment having less than 1000 employees).
  • 2. The employer should made payment of wages on or before 10th day of every month (for establishment having more than 1000 employees).
  • 3. Notice indicating date of payment.
  • 4. Notice indicating rates of wages.
  • 5. Register of advance in “Form IV”. (If register in Form II under Minimum Wages Act, 1948 is maintained it is not necessary.)
  • 6. Wages / payments by an account payee cheque drawn in favour of the employees or by crediting the same in the bank account of employee.
  • 7. An abstract of the Act and Rules in English, Hindi or Marathi to be displayed

  • 3. List of finished Products&It should be serially mentioned along with details of raw materials, process description and critacal proces parameters etc, via Finished product Name, Raw materials Names along with M.S.D.S.

  • 6. Healths register. Form 7.
  • 7. Register of Accidents and dangerous occurrences -. Form 30
  • 8. Reports of examination of Pressure Plant/Vessels- Form 13 and Lifting Tackles/machinery - Form 11.
  • 9. Register (of Adult Workers) (for regular and contract) - Form 17.
    10. Safety Committee details.
  • 11. Canteen Committee details.
  • 12. On-site Emergency Plan.
  • 13. Mock Drills Report.
  • 14. Leave with wages Register - Form 20.
  • 15. Status of Annual Returns submitted.
  • 16. Safety Audit conducted and compliance report of recommendations.
  • 17. Status of Welfare officer.
  • 18. Status of Safety officer.
  • 19. Status of Medical officer.
  • 20. Status of Canteen Facility.
  • 21. Over Time Record.
  • 22. Noise Level survey Report.
  • 23. Details of fire fighting arrangement.
